About vitreuos enamel:

The inimitably luminous colours are literally created "in the fire": layer by layer, enamel is carefully fired in at 800 degrees Celsius. Vitreous means made of glass: the ancient technique is almost forgotten today and Victor Mayer is perhaps the last manufactory to master it at the highest level.

About guilloché:

Guilloché refers to a class of enamel with abstract geometric patterns cut into the surface of precious metals and showing clearly through the overlying glaze. The manner in which the design is engraved into the metal increases the luminous quality and play of colors in the translucent glaze when the object is rotated to catch the light.

About aquamarine:

Aquamarine is a pale-blue to light-green variety of beryl. The color of aquamarine can be changed by heat. It is a common gemstone. However, there is a rarer deep blue variant called maxixe, but its color can fade due to sunlight.
